The King James Group has been awarded agency of the year at the African Cristal Festival, which was held in Marrakesh, Morocco. Walking away with 21 awards across eight different client brands, they were awarded four Silvers, two Golds, a Grand Prix and the African Leadership Grand Prix for its Sanlam ‘One Rand Man’ campaign.

The African Cristal Festival stands as the first ‘summit for media and communications’, dedicated to Africa and brings together African and international experts to celebrate exceptional work produced on the continent.

Further awards include seven Bronze and six Silvers for Santam’s ‘Be Safe out There’ TV campaign, Johnnie Walker ‘King of Flavour’ campaign; Burger King ‘The Whopper Launch in Jozi’; Allan Gray ‘The Slip’ TV campaign, kulula ‘Rugby Widows’ radio, City of Cape Town ‘Help the Homeless’ outdoor campaign and the Cape Argus’ ‘Boston Marathon Bombing’.
